ok, so I just installed Firefox because i've heard from multiple sources how much better it is than IE (and i tend to agree having tried it for a few days now)

The problem is, i can't get videos or mp3's to play that are embedded in threads for example. It keeps telling me I need to install quicktime (which i already have installed) but i'd rather them play in windows media player... does anyone have a solution?

Go to qucktime settings in control panel and find 'mime settings' under the browser tab and check what you want quicktime to play.

I'm not sure for windows media player....
