he looks amazing, but on a lot of those runs even the lead blocker gets through untouched, so he has pretty good blocking/shitty defenses.

Not nearlly as impressive as the Reggie Bush High Schoool tapes. Heck, half of the teams in this video hardly even have any black kids. I don't exactly see there being many decent Florida schools with an all white secondary. Poor tackling galore. He will get eaten alive if he tries running like that against an ACC or SEC defense.

His older films (Sophmore / Freshman year) were even more impressive. They didn't focus on missed tackles, more breaking ankles and such. I posted one a few years ago that was done to outkast's "Bombs Over Baghdad". It was sick..


... and I think it's a little farfetched to say it's not nearly impressive as Bush's. Bush looked good, but this kid is pretty nasty as well...

he's good at cutting back, except sometimes he goes sideways too much, even backwards. That shit won't fly in college/pros.

he does a good job of protecting the ball, carrying it in his outside arm, not slinging it around ala TA style.

I remember those videos PB. I was just referring to this video in particular. I just don't think his size and those moves are going to translate into next level success like the videos make you think. Devine highlights look more like fluke plays (from the bad tackling and excessive cutbacks) while the Bush tapes look more like a showcase of talent. LIke I said, seeing Devine torch a bunch of 5'8" 150 lbs white kids in the secondary is not impressing me.
