So I just passed PY 208 and I never took PY 205. I got AP credit placement into 208. Does anyone know how you get the PY 205 on your transcript as being passed. Thx.

Your advisor should be able to do it. This is of course assuming that your score on the AP physics exam was good enough.

there was someone i know of who had to take the 205 final to get credit for it.

It says you'll get credit for 205 if you achieve a C- or better in 208, so you're probably going to have to remind somebody about that to get credit for it.

Also verify that registration and records does have your AP scores ... are known to get lost. I was missing all of my AP scores when I first got into the university and has a few issues registering for courses. Sent them a copy, done deal.

(I think you can check that through PackTracs now?)

i had to talk to the dean of engineering to get the 205 credit manually added
go to their offices tomorrow and talk to someone in charge who can do it for you...don't leave tomorrow without getting it taken care of

Engineering - main office is 118 Page and they could help. Reg and Rec should have the scores and with the grade in and the AP scores on hand, they should be able to add the credit for PY 205. Go to 1000 Harris Hall and ask for Loretta Massenburg if you take that route.

py 205 was the easiest class ever. i went to class maybe a whole 4 times not including test dates and got my only A+ at NC State

when i did that w/ stats i think they automatically put something like "Cr" for the one that was tested out of.

I talked my advisor into giving me credit for both 205 and 208.

it will be done automatically, i did the same thing and it will update. if for some reason it doesn't by the start of next semester then just email your advisor.
