Nope. My license expired in September, and I renewed it last week. Signs test and $$ was all that I needed. And yes, I walked in off the street and passed the signs test, but there was at least one I know I got wrong (plain round yellow circle, I was blanking and said the first thing that came to mind, which was RR crossing .)
