My eng 101 teacher admitted she smoked and even had pictures of some plants that she took while visiting canada.

one day she walked into class, and told us she didn't feel like teachign that day and we could either work on our paper or leave. it was obvious that she had been smoking, red eyes and everything.

also my 11th grade english teacher was a HUGE phish fan, i'm sure she smoked too

must be an english thing

8th grade english - busted for like a pound of pot.
9th and 11th history - Chill mf'er that looked like socrates from Bill & Ted's. The only high school teacher that tought like college. Didn't even have prepared lessons: asked what the last thing he said was the day before, scratched his head, and started talking. Oh and he played the harmonica.
12th english - saw her at a smashing pumpkins concert, great teacher.

i think my European History who also taught me in a 60's History/Film Study class was a stoner.

He always rocked classic rock, was very liberal, and looked like he was an old school hippy back in the 60's. He even had a debate about rather or not marijuana should be legal one day

9th grade history (she kicked ass, looked like jennifer anniston, would talk to those of us who cared about old 70s punk music and elvis costello and other shit like that. probably about as much of a stoner as i am, which is to say not much at all, but still way too chill to not do anything)
10th grade web design (told us he did enough stuff in 'Nam as a medic)
9th grade electronics (see above, grew up on an indian reservation, too)
12th grade band (we got a new teacher who was a big Phish fan. he husband helped too. he looked like a real life Barney Rubble)

most of my crazy teachers were more of the "get drunk and beat your kids" type

2 Chemistry profs
1 geography prof

and the geography prof. had Tourette's; shook the bong all over the place. But I don't smoke anymore...

One of my highschool teachers always seemed a little spacy. And she admitted to doing things in the past that she regretted, although she was never specific, I'm sure this was among the things. What really sealed the deal was when she saw a rainbow in the cornfield by my highschool and ran out of a room in the middle of a parent teacher confrence to chase it.
