I'm thinking about getting some new front seats, but I hesitate to buy something online that I have sat in before. Anyone have a suggestion for a local custom shop where I might be able to try some? Or suggestions for what kind of seats to get?

this all depends on why you want (or need) some new seats.

The driver's seat is getting old and uncomfortable. Wouldn't mind getting some cool looking racing seats, but comfort is important. That's why I want to try the seats out first.

If you were happy with the seats from the factory then hit up a junkyard. That would probably be easiest.

I put buckets in my Dad's truck (ditched the bench) with two seats I got from nine's. I remember him charging me $20 each and they were my pick from the cars in the lot. I drove in, pulled them myself, and on the way out gave him some cash.

I can confidently say that my recaros are the most comfy car seats I've ever had the pleasure of sitting my ass in.

No electronic controls though, all manual baby!
