These guitars are featured on late night infomercials and the following is a review from harmony central I thought you may find interesting.

Quote :
"Overall Rating: 1
I have played since I was 12 years old, this makes 35 years now. I have a Taylor 910ce and Seagull S6. I wish I had asked how many were returned. This guitar cannot be stolen or sold, I reworked the face on the guitar and made it into a toilet seat for my outhouse at the cabin. The rest of it I am ashamed to say I put in the trash. I was afraid of the chemicals they used would poison me if I used them in the fireplace or used as mulch. This was an impulse purchase for a cheapie guitar for the cabin. All I wanted was a cheap cheap guitar. This thing is better as toilet seat than it ever was as guitar."

You get what you pay for...

if you order a guitar off the Home Shopping Network, you deserve to get a piece of crap.

ive played one.. they arent great, but they are easy to play, the action is real low, and thats what its made for... ease of play.

I can't believe he would own a Taylor and then buy this guitar off television.

"Reliability/Durability: 1
My daughter bought it and I played it once.
She played it for a couple weeks. Then one
day I arrived home from work and there it was
hanging from a tree limb minus strings. She got so
ticked off with various problems that she decided
to turn it into a bird house.

So far after 6 weeks in the tree no birds have moved
in, but there is bird crap all over it."

I really dont believe the reviews but i find using a guitar in the ways the users have used very resourceful and entertaining.

he's not blind.. is he?

I know he got into a car wreck and couldn't play for like 15 years... but I'd never heard that he was blind

I had doubts about such a cheap guitar when I saw it too. It DID sound great when he played it though.
