This is the Michelangelo Antonioni film from 1975 starring Jack Nicholson. I watched it last night and it was really good. Definitely recommended if you're a fan of Italian cinema, adventures, or general badassery. This is a new print, so the picture quality is pretty good. It's got a 7.6 on IMDB and 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. Nicholson is great.
Now playing at Galaxy Cinema. Showtimes are at 2:00, 4:35, 7:00, and 9:30. $5.50 tickets for students at all times. Come see it!
"Nicholson deserved the 1975 Oscar for this, not Cuckoo's Nest." -- Phil Hall, FILM THREAT
"I admire the movie more 30 years later. I am more in sympathy with it." -- Roger Ebert, CHICAGO SUN-TIMES
"It's a movie from the past that still points ahead to the future: a cinematic rite of passage that raptly recalls a time when the world may have been as uncertain as now, but the movies were often lovelier and more daring." -- Michael Wilmington, CHICAGO TRIBUNE]
