To anyone who has played this game but doesn't own it, it is now only $20 and is fucking awesome. I haven't played it since my brother went back to blacksburg but bought it today since it was so cheap (used to be 60). And damn, i had forgotten how addicting and fun this shit is. Been playing 2 player with my friend for like 5 hours.

I'd never play it because I think I could beat it with absolute ease.

drum and game at BB for 20

^ Easy and normal: yes they take a little bit but are fairly quick to master. Hard: Depends on the song... Oni: absolutely fucking ridiculous.

I was gonna buy this for my cousin, but none of the Best Buys around here have it. It's $30 at the EB Games at Crabtree though.

I'm pretty sure that is a bit harder then a video game, so I stand by my previous statement.

my little brother is the percussion captain of his high school's marching band... would this be something good to tell him about? or is it for beginners?

^ he would probably find it extremely fun. on the "oni" level (oni=demon) it is actually really hard, and very fast.

I looked up some stuff about it online, and it looks pretty elementary. Can anybody who has percussion experience that has played it tell me some about it? Like it talks about "Japanese-style" stuff... would he enjoy that? My brother has played marching snare (and set) for a few years, and my parents want some information for it (as like a late-Christmas present since my early graduation present kinda left him feeling jipped)

FOr anyone experienced with percussion, that shit should be easy.

I've not played it, but I've got confidence that I'd own it easily (I used to be captain of my drumline).

If your brother is halfway decent, he'll get bored.
