what would you get. no work required to get the vehicle in working order either. just a daily driver.
and relativley cheap to insure too (not a 1988 Corvette for example)

get a corollaaaaaaaaaaaaaa My old car. It has about 200k on it...NEVER took it to a mechanic. works PERFECT!!
plus..it gets 35 mpg

jeep cherokee 5 speed... if you don't lift it you'll get about 27 mpg + they're kinda quick and not nearly as gay as most mentioned above.
vw corrados are cool too.
240 sx's

they're damn fun though - esp. with the vr6...
