The car has been rear-ended...

it rattles around the front and back wheels every time you go over a bump or hole, there is a bump and then it squeeks.

The car overheated recently and they replaced the radiator hose and head gasket... the dealership said they didn't hear any of the bumps until they rode along with us.

the car is a 2000 model and we've had it for 2 years... it has bumped squeeked and rattled for the entire time...

what does this sound like?

Sounds like suspension issues, probably bushings, maybe struts...hell, it could be exhaust-related.

But we really need more info before any kind of real diagnosis can be made. There are way too many things that squeak and rattle on a car to even come close.

In person is the only way to really find out.

yeah its my aunts car... I didn't even ride in it she was just describing what it was doing.

Are there any common things to go wrong @72k and 5years? I mean how long are suspension parts suppose to last? I thought shocks/strutts were good for 10years.
