Hey I saw about the new patch coming out for this game that added the titan class ships and I was kinda getting interested in this game so I'm playing the 2 week free trial. Just wanted to know if anybody was into this one or had been for a while? Seems like its pretty damn awesome. I'm surprised I'd never really heard of it before now. Anyways, lemme know if anybody on TWW has a corporation I might be able to get in like there is with WoW. Thanks!

game's kinda lame... if you do the two week trial, figure out the training system asap, then login just when its time to learn a new skill. maybe by the 14th day you'll know enough skills to actually enjoy anything (doubt it)

Ahaha somewhat true. Yet I really enjoyed Freelancer, and this seems to be a slower paced, more serious space sim in the same vein as Freelancer. I just hated the fact that it really had no multiplayer aspect to that game and your "actions" on the game world had no consequence. At least with this game you have the randomness of other people playing in the game, for better or worse.

I am somewhat surprised that nobody else on TWW is playing it though. With the number of ubargeeks we have around here I figured there would be at least a couple of folks into it.

I played one of the beta trials of it and thought it was pretty cool, aside from the fact that you spent most of your time just mining. The graphics were badass though, and so was the size of the universe.

No purchase necessary, just go to the website and download the client. Its a half a gig download and install it. Then go to this link to get a 2 week trial:
