I'm so happy it was released in the states on DVD finally (yay for Netflix) --

They've got the entire season one so far. I had purchased a UK DVD of select episodes a year back in order to try to achieve that perfect late-80s nostalgia (technically the show was on in the early-mid 80s, but my memory is probably of 1987-1988ish reruns on Nickelodeon.

Good stuff! 1980s AND UK (spin-off from DangerMouse)!

Fuck yeah I remember this show. I remember Bananaman too, I think I have an old comic of his lying around somewhere. In the comic he had to defeat that red robot dude but he couldn't find any regular bananas to transform him. All he could find was a really small banana, an overripe banana, and I think a plantaine. Hilarity ensued.
