looking for a good tripod and ball head. i'd like it to hold up to 10 pounds, extend up to at least 5'. nothing too heavy to cart around but would like it to be stable. definitely NOT willing to pay $400.

of course heard of bogan. but saw this benbo with the counterweight and thought it looked pretty decent. bu never heard of the brand before.

realize most people on here won't know but maybe a few photographers might have some thoughts.

With a price like that, you're bound to get a good quality tripod no matter the brand-- when you buy it from somewhere reputable like B&H. Personally, I highly reccomend Bogen/Manfrotto tripods. Good ones cost around the one you've selected above, and are VERY sturdy and well manufactured. Manfrotto is an italian brand, and will perform very well. Good luck!

Don't tempt me like that! T_T

(I'm trying to save up money for a freaking cleaning kit and some ammo for my new Mauser...not to mention pay for a lawyer because of speeding ticket.)
