make a computer screen into a TV? Basically, I want to get cable signal into it? Is there a contraption for it? And if so, where could I find one (cheap)?

Thanks!

doesn't your computer screen have a cable jack in the back of it? I can plug my cable coming out of my wall right into my computer screen and watch TV on it. If there are no jacks that look like it would fit, you might have to just jam it into any of the free jacks - keep pushing, it will fit.
Or, if you have some old bunny ears you can stick the wires into the vents on top of your computer screen and watch over the air broadcasts, like all the major networks.

Take a look at the video card "sockets" in the back of your computer (if your video card isn't integrated). You might have like an S-Video or something that you could connect to an A/V receiver. If not, get a video card with a TV tuner on it, or get TV/monitor.

This is about the last place you should come for advice/help with computers. Just a heads up.
