I use Canon A80 and use 256 Kingston CF card.
I took alot of pictures and it suddenly gives memory card error. What do I have to do to get the pictures?

if it gives you the same error when you put it into a cf slot to transfer it from the card to your computer, then your card is shot

compact flash cards have a finite lifespan... 100k writes typically and if any address individually gets written 100k times the card screws up (they have algorithms to make sure the addresses are written as evenly as possible though).

however... on my S400 I'll get that error periodically when I turn it on... I can get it to go away by power cycling a few times... the card I have has been written many many times b/c I got it second hand from work where we use them to store board loads
