It's pretty self explanatory.
See if you're interested.
If you're not, eh, that's cool too.

What "wrong things" are being associated with Christianity here in the South?

Otherwise, what a short, generic, and fairly pointless blog.

Generally republicanism refers to our style of government and not necessarily the GOP but whatever.

I'm simply curious to know what needs to be unbuckled.

the whole Homosexuality will lead to Hell. The Fact that in the South the Pro War movement is more prevalent, and the whole pro Bush thing. I am sure this blog was done by some liberal hippy who is still bitter that Bush is president and people still say Merry Christmas down here.

but now that i have
from the FAQ
Quote :
"So will this just be one of those "hip" church things where they follow up rhetoric with all the usual bs and focus on useless topics like keeping my virginity?

The exact opposite actually. We’re looking to take a post-modern approach that breaks down all the traditional Christian rhetoric to find out what’s actually biblical and applicable in today’s church."
clearly states that this "church" or "movement" or whatever considers abstinence church "rhetoric" and non-applicable in today's church

[Edited on December 27, 2005 at 8:55 PM. Reason : so again, this is what modern southern "Christians" are using to justify the sex...]

i might show up to this just to raise some hell

ps
why would the website EXPLICITLY use abstinence to demonstrate how NU-SKOOL they are, if it wasn't a key to getting college kids to it?

i think its more like

"we shouldnt ignore sex and act like it doesnt exist until your married, or its some taboo subject that should be only mentioned if youre talking about total abstinence"

as opposed to

"sex before marriage is a-ok"

social justice is totally uncool. inequalities make the world go 'round. no upward mobility, through no means whatsoever!

and notice i didnt say anything anti/pro gov or business there, maintaining my political agnosticism and belief that everyone has flaws.

"we shouldn't ignore murder"
"we shouldn't ignore international diamond thievery"
"we shouldn't ignore hating our parents"
"we shouldn't ignore sex"

when did "sex" become something that we as modern humans, and more importantly Christians, lose our control over
