do you hear the hard drive spin before it shuts down? (if you are not sure, use a paper clip to open the cd rom and put a cd in it and listen for that)

"broen" computer got you down? Better call a "tecnician".

You need to give us more info. Does your computer make it to the Windows logo? Does it make it to the login screen. Is it shutting down 3 seconds after logging in or 3 seconds after pushing the power button? It will "start up" is a little vague.

it literally starts up for 3 secs and turns right back off. i switched the voltage th ingy on the back testing it out, from 115V to 230V and it will start, but doesnt send anything to the monitor. the monitor is fine and i cant open the cd drives up n stuff

it neer makes it to bios or windows or anything
