Need one SCCA legal, 1.5", .120 wall...
Who makes the best for the money? I can get the Autopower cage kit for 750 bucks, but I was hoping to find something a little better pricewise.
Got a buddy who caged his Z, but I can't remember who/where he got his cage. 12/27/2005 6:00:15 PM |

If I could find a good source of DOM around here, I would consider fabbing my own cage. I don't have as much access to a bender anymore either.
'preciate it so far, fellas.
Kirk has it for 610 dolla.

610 is resonable considering material cost. believe it or not carolina rock shop in charlotte has been doing alot of cages recently for pretty cheap money. 12/27/2005 8:18:09 PM |

you gonna get a bolt in?
most of the bolt in ones you can just get the rear bar, and add more on whenever you want.
well, same with the welded ones too.
but if you are stripping the whole interior, weld that SOB in and use that interior for fire wood 12/28/2005 2:12:47 AM |

Yer goddam right it's gonna be a weld-in. I don't trust bolts. I want it as rigid as possible...besides, the sleeves that come with bolt-in kits are SO NGR lookin'... 12/28/2005 3:40:46 PM |

i would go custom if you're stripping the interior.
most kits are designed to fit with the interior still installed. 12/28/2005 4:24:54 PM |

i was happy with the autopower 4-point i had. they do make full cages that can be welded in if you prefer. the quality and craftsmanship was great.

dunno. never got to test my bar out. i know it met all the requirements, but i'm sure kirk bars do as well.
