how come when i turn this program on while on wireless, everybody on wireless, including me loses the ability to view websites. AIM stays on, but no websites work. When i use my neighbors wireless, azureus works at the same time as websites, but its a weak signal, so i cant be on that all the time...

any suggestions on how to fix this?

Azureus is a bit torrent client.

Bit torrent is a bandwidth whore.

it will consume all the availible bandwidth on your network if possible.

Solutions are:
Only use it at night when no ones on
if your router supports QoS, limit your connection to a percentage of total bandwidth.
Stop using Bit torrent.

there are also plugins for Azureus such as SpeedScheduler that will let you limit its bandwidth usage based on time, so you can set Azureus to use less bandwidth when more people are on, but let it run wide open when people are asleep/gone.

make sure you have peerguardian 2 running..to avoid being caught if your on school..and to avoid being tracked by ppl wanting to sue you

yeah i got caught before downloading a movie at school but all you get is a warning...
