and to be fair vlc is a nice player for obscure codecs, but i cant ever see a reason to use it as a primary program

last time i had a problems with codecs i got frustrated to the point of manually deleting them all and downloading 3ivx + media player classic. havent had a problem since.

btw MPC > VLC easily
