yoga is great for muscle pain in general. good for relaxing, streching, and targeting specific areas in your body for improvement. 1/3/2006 12:51:09 PM |

i did some yoga when i was in flight school b/c some of our flights you have to literally swing your neck/back all the way around.
i found that it helped out alot in making the pain in my neck and back stop and it gave me more flexibility to move around freely. 1/3/2006 8:56:39 PM |

Pilates is GREAT for alleviating back pain.... Several of the exercises I did in physical therapy after my back injury closely resembled pilates exercises, and they helped. I've also taken pilates classes, and we did pilates as an additional workout when I danced competitively... It's good stuff... Strengthens your core and relaxes you all over 1/3/2006 10:36:13 PM |
