this was my first game of the year tonight (been in florida) and i was not impressed by the atmosphere. as good as the team is, they deserve much better, even for UNCG.

I can't believe people were booing herb, do they have their heads in the sand? check our record, our ranking and out performance against, Miami, bama, and GW heck even Iowa even though we lost we still played well in a hostile environment.
Open a paper, read the news, see what people are saying about the unselfish wolfpack team that can get you from any position and have 5+ people who can score in double digits at any time...

No, I won't. I haven't always been happy with our team's performance, but i've never been on the fire herb bandwagon. I'm perfectly happy with consistent top 25 rankings, 20+ win seasons and an NCAA bid each year.

the games atmosphere seemed on par with any other game i've seen this season. which, yes, is very poor. no one in the third level even moves. i don't know what to blame this on, but having a bigger student presence will probably help.

the "fat guy" is probably mean gene, at least it was at the red/white game. he is well known from a few years ago for doing dances etc. in the stands w/ his friend slappy. They eventually had them do dances and cheers at half time and at the red/white game.

Also, like I've said before, they need to use the Corchiani video for the pregame thing. It's an actual produced video instead of a tape of one pregame. I've got nothing against Mean Gene, but the video with him in it makes us look rink-a-dink.
