Do they use the same servers? So if I use my CPU and some else uses their PS2 online can we play with each other?

I haven't played it on console, but I hear it looks like crap compared to the PC. I have seen a few Logitech gamepads that have a similar layout to a PS2 controller in that it has two analog sticks, four main buttons, four L/R buttons, and a D-pad. Also, there are some PS2 -> USB adaptors you can get so that you can use your PS2 controller like a gamepad on the PC. Why would you play a FPS with a controller though, when you have the option to play with a keyboard and mouse?

PC version absolutely destroys the Console version.

But... the console version offers some pretty good single player levels. (The pc version honestly wasn't made for single player, even though there is AI to play you in single player levels)

When you play online with a PS2 you are playing PS2 players

When you use a PC you are playing PC players

If you have a good enough computer then get the pc version. If you desperately need a controller, get the xbox360 wired controller.
