for real
in the professional world, stapling your resume = bad
binder clips or paper clips are the way to go 1/10/2006 7:19:05 PM |

If you have a padfolio or nice looking folder I'd keep everything in that. Gives you something to hold on to so your hands aren't hanging limp with nothing to do. 1/10/2006 7:31:07 PM |

ooooh i worked at nortel, i loved it. but that was more of a function of the team i was on instead of the company 1/10/2006 11:44:01 PM |

you should be more selective about where you will work. getting stuck in a shitty company with no raises or opportunities for advancement, benefits, or security is not worth the comfort of knowing you got a job right now. 1/11/2006 12:49:05 AM |

some people NEED a first opportunity period...
A crappy real world industry job is better than a job in retail any day.
its critical for overcomming GPA pitfalls... 1/11/2006 7:19:43 AM |

i accepted another job over Nortel was I was job hunting.
that being said, i would have taken the Nortel job if I had no other offers because any type of experience/work is better then sitting at home not doing anything.
good luck! i found my Nortel interview to be fairly relaxed and low key.
