When I am just wiping off dust, I use a small lens cloth. 1/11/2006 5:43:24 PM |

I used to use those isopropyl alcohol pads you get at the drugstore. Then I would wipe off the streaks it left with one of those microfiber cloths from the sunglass hut.
My dad then bought me one of those special screen-cleaning spray bottles and another microfiber/lint-free cloths that works just as well.
Some people say the alcohol kills the screen, but I've done it for years and I've never had a problem with it. I don't know what it does on those new laptop screens that are shiny though. 1/11/2006 7:16:26 PM |
