Texas looked like crap earlier in the season. Supposedly they're better now, but I haven't had a chance to really watch them lately.

florida - very surprising undefeated team...have to hold complete judgment though...member of the wake forest school of march chokejobs
kentucky- basically terrible
vanderbilt- yeah they beat kentucky bad, but what the fuck is that worth
tenn- they beat texas...and im supposed to be impressed

the west- NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

^ On that point you may be correct, however Kentucky is extremely inconsistant but not bad, Florida is really good, LSU is pretty good, Alabama is pretty good (almost beat NC State), and of course Tennessee is very good!

Who have those teams played, though? Florida's toughest games were FSU and Miami, hardly the height of the NCAA (and don't even mention Syracuse and Wake). Tenn has only beaten Texas. And 'Bama just got embarrassed by State all night long, if you were actually watching. The game itself was never in question, regardless of the final score.

SEC Teams in the Tournament:

Florida
Kentucky
Tennessee
Vanderbilt
LSU

Alabama has been not great, and with Chuck Davis out for the year, they are NIT bound. Try to drop your ACC bias for 3 seconds and you will see that quality teams do exist beyond the ACC. We all know the ACC is a top tier conference (along with big east and big 10) this year, but it is not the only conference.

But the guy who started this thread is really overrating Tennessee. They won't make the Sweet 16. Texas ain't that good.

If dynasty means winning 11 of your first 12 games with only one win versus a quality opponent then NC State, Duke, UF, Villanova, Pittsburgh, USC's football team, the Detroit Pistons, the Colts, my friend's bowling team, that little league team I played on in 4th grade, my sister's soccer team, etc. were all dynasties too.
