Powertabs are the closest thing to what you want.
Ultimateguitararchive.com have some decent ones, and that's what I use now that powertabs.net is down 1/12/2006 3:51:21 PM |

a few years ago, i tried searching for piano sheet music for free ( .pdf format or whatever ) from websites & had little luck. i noticed mostly guitar tabs....
since it's a lot different than lyrics, most artists probably won't offer their music for free..... it's probably far easier to find what you want on the internet & buy it than to look at local music stores....
i also doubt anyone who pays for the sheet music will scan it & share it with others..... not like w/ mp3s...
there was one cd store at cary towne center which had a good selection of sheet music / whole album books ( i got ben folds five whatever & ever amen .... thinking i could play that it ).
tons of music places ( that sell instruments ) are on capitol blvd. & they probably also sale sheet music ( clasical & new ) - one is Pearson Music...
there used to be a good place in that shopping center next to salt box village in Cary....
sheet music for one song isn't going to cost you more than a few dollars anyways ...

Burt Music is the one near Salt Box Village, in the shopping center on the corner of Kildaire & Cary Parkway. Great sheet music selection there for a lot of instruments, and they'll be happy to order anything they don't have.
Sam Ash up on Capital Blvd also has a pretty good selection.
The store in Cary Towne Center has some stuff, but it's not nearly as wide a variety.
Larger bookstores (Barnes & Noble, Borders) carry books of sheet music, but I've never seen single-song sheets at those. 1/12/2006 4:40:07 PM |
