I'm a little nervous here b/c I didnt like our chances against the Giants & Bears and then we went out and wiped the floor with both of them.

The problem here is that I actually like our chances against Seattle.

I'm not going to predict us though, i dont wanna be the one that causes John Kasay to lose bodily control and cost us another game...

We're pretty banged up. For us to beat the Seahawks, we need to be able to run the ball. Look for Henning to try to establish the run early.

Hasslebeck is a hell of a QB, and he is looking sharper than ever right now. The Panthers need to find a way to rattle him. Peppers fucked up his shoulder, so he's questionable right now. They need a big play or 2 out of him in that matchup versus Locklear.

The Seahawks hasn't played anybody this year. The reason they're playing at home is because they play in a weak ass division.

I have faith in goings. Look what he did for us last season. 1 - 7 start... tailback staff dessimated. Goings steps up... we finish 7 - 9 a game shy of the playoffs.

He's a good running back. He's smart and doesn't try to get too fancy.

Panthers 31
Gulls 17

They are so cocky on that gull board. Their main gmaeplan according ot the fans is stop Steve. good luck. The panthers are great at shutting up teams, this week should be no different.

the thing is, fox is stubborn enough about the run that it forces the other team to also play that. you can just focus on smith

dude look at his freaking arm!!! hugeeeeee. i am scared no matter who we play...as long as we play hard i can't complain i went to 6 home games this year and we went 4-2. I didnt miss a single play home or away in the other 10 8 on the road and then 2 i couldnt go to . that being said you can't ask for anything more than going to the super bowl...if we just can make it to that point there isnt anything further besides winning of course...right now i justw ant to make it there!

haha...Seahawks fans started a topic called "How to stop Steve Smith"...but most of them do seem like realistic fans, ie "you cant stop him, only try to contain him" etc

but I liked this one

"How to stop Steve Smith: Make sure he gets the wrong airline ticket and ends up in Timbuktu."

he has so much heart and aggression in the playoffs! win or lose I am glad he has gotten us to this point 2 times in the last 3 years...and one blocked field goal away from being in the playoffs last year.

yeah, what was it, a 61 yarder? kasay isn't exactly stellar from long range, much less record setting range
