Actually, their defense is fun to watch.

When they play zones, sometimes they don't move out of the base positions. i.e., I've seen them play a 1-3-1 where they stayed fixed in a cross formation and the whole thing moved as a single unit. It's like they just looked at a picture of the zone in a book.

i personally think that would be a stupid move for Prosser. Wake's program is in better shape than Cincinnati's. also Cincinnati is in a very deep Big East conference. Wake has been a top tier team in the league for the past couple of years while he's been here. i admit though that they've been having an off year up to this point. if they'd get better on D, then they could actually make a deep run in the Tourney.

This game shouldn't be taken lightly, they've ruined senior night two out of our last three years. This is a game in which we will get many, many open looks from the perimeter, it's up to our players to knock down the shots. Shutting down Gray= easy win. Containing Gray= close win. If Gray goes off, like he likes to do in Raleigh, the rest of the team seems to play better. Hopefully Cam can shut him down, because so much of their offense depends on him. I've also never seen less development over the course of a career than I have with Eric Williams, or Visser for that matter. They should ask Derrik MaQueen to run the point to help Gray out for this one game, although Travis Banks is not a bad swingman.

Wake is a totally different team this year without him. All we have to do is play our game, constantly harrass Gray on the perimeter, and let Ced and Brack do their thing in the paint.

Hale and Dukes have been running more of the point than Gray after his abysmal turnover margin in the first few games. They're young, inexperienced, and can easily be abused.
