Quote : | "Socially-conscious rhapsodies fused with danceable, disco-like grooves that work over an electronic/organic hybrid of beats, synths and guitar. A messy contradiction? Hardly. It’s the very crux of Rooster’s philosophy: people can think and shake their asses at the same time." J.E. Pilkington" |
The fact that this is on the front page of their web site is enough for me to never want to listen to them, like, EVER.1/20/2006 6:26:22 PM |

I've seen a lot of gay shit in my life.
Nothing as gay as the phrase, "the very crux of Rooster's philosophy."
Rooster Cogburn would've been a better name. 1/20/2006 6:40:15 PM |

I wonder if their intent is to "wake up" the masses? Because, I'll tell you, a band with a message, now, that's something NEW. 1/20/2006 6:42:14 PM |

They're actually a pretty good band. Caught them at The Library with The Films. 1/20/2006 7:50:02 PM |

I'd never heard of them and I saw the WKNC benefit show where they played. I was pretty damn blown away by how good they are.
Though, as we all know... the quotes on a band's music are WAYYYYYY more important than how their music sounds.
way more important. 2/8/2006 10:04:28 PM |

Nah i know their lead singer Adam. They really rock. You just never expect that voice to come out of him. Worth the $4. 2/9/2006 1:42:48 AM |
