i really don't know why so many of you hate him. he's brought the rbc center, the murphy center, the vaughn towers. all of those are only going to generate interest in our two main programs, and just because the results aren't imediate, most people are quick to hate him. it doesn't make sense.

herb. he's stuck with his man in herb, and last year we went to the sweet 16, and each year our recruits have been more solid and promising than the year(s) before. he's stuck with chuck, and even though we had a shaky season, we went to a bowl (which is all you can expect with no strong leader at qb). the man seems to be loyal to those in position, and i can't fault him for our fanbase's ridiculous expectations and need for instant gratification, without any knowledge of how long it takes to build up solid sports programs. the only thing he has done was keep a poor coach at women's volleyball around, and he took care of that this season (even though he could have never have "taken care" of that, and very few people, myself included, would not have noticed or truely cared.) give him a break.

You got it right...He sticks with his coaches..as good or as bad as they are. Thank goodness we have the same cross country coach. And we kept the volleyball coach after she went 1 or 2 and 100000000 in her 5 year career. He has kept our reputation of mediocrity at NC State very well.

Yeah, what a great year. We only have 4 players going into the draft early. One will be picked top 5 and another may go 1st round. One of the top defenses in college for two years and SHIT to show for it.
