decent show tonight

the first band was easily one of the worst bands i have ever seen in my life, i seriously hope that was some sort of joke

islands fucking killed.

metric was ok. i wasnt too big on the set list and their whole set seemed rush, still a good show though

^yeah, I was telling my buddy that same thing about the first band. somehow that singer had me so angry from just looking at him.

when they fell down after that one song, I was really hoping they were dead or the stage dropped out or something

saw metric this past wednesday here in madison

the first opening band was From Fiction, who i guess could be classified as post-hardcore...they were decent. the second opening band was The Elected, which is blake sennet from rilo kiley's side band. i wanted to like them, but they were pretty lame

metric was just alright i thought...i just feel like emily haine's talents could be better appreciated if her supporting band wasnt a bunch of jokers

I feel her talents could be better appreciated if she didn't look like she was in a K hole.

I thought about grabbing her off stage and taking her home with me, but i feared all the 17 year old girls would come running after me

Seventeen? Sounds like you did a damn sight better than Chapel Hill. That shit was straight-up middle school.

Yeah.

It's weird to go to a show where the girls won't fuck me for an entirely different reason.

I've been to six or eight shows in the past month, after going to hardly anything for about a year. Next few weeks looks like a dry spell, though....I'll be hurting for teh rock later this month.

What really depresses me

and this is my last post before collapsing in bed

but what depresses me is that now the BANDS are younger than I am.

it really depressed me how much the young crowd at the show loved that opening band. they were easily one of the worst bands i have ever seen or heard, period.

easily the worst opening band i have ever seen. the girl i was with turned to me at least 10 times during their set and was like "is this some sort of a cruel joke?". and the saddest part is that all the young teens in there loved it

Oh, I've seen plenty worse.

I mean, if nothing else, they could play their shit.

And they weren't physically painful.
