Dillon sells 20' pieces of box steel both in 1/4" and 3/16" (along with many other types of steel) but those are the two I am interested in. The prices are like 260 for 1/4" and 210 for 3/16". just wanted to check before I purchased some but would the 3/16" be fine to make a bump out of? I want to save money but not at the cost of making something that won't hold up. Jeepman and I both think it will be fine but just wanted T-Dubs "professional" opinion.

also i am looking to get some plate steel to make a winch mount. I don't need a whole damn 4x8' sheet though so anyone willing to go in on it?

try apex. they'll sell smaller quantities. lowes/home depot has smaller pieces too, but probably too small for a winch plate. maybe give andy at CRS a call too, he quoted Tuite a pretty good price a while back on a pre cut/bent plate.

budbuilt sells prefab winch mont plates I think they're like 30-40 bucks
