but i do wish it had a v-6 at times.

btw - did they illuminate the radio controls in the 06? it irritates the snot out of me that they did everything else right but could put a little light behind those buttons.

I agree about the V-6, I'm thinking that an intake and exhaust are in order, as for the steering wheel controls I cannot agree more, it's annoying to have to try to remember which buttons are which, same goes for the cruise control

yes, the radio/steering wheel controls are illuminated in mine. I have the navi model, though, so it might be different from non-navi.

I'm gonna put an intake on it as soon as I break the engine in a little. Any of you guys replaced speakers in yours? It's the only aspect of the car I'm kinda underwhelmed by. The whole thing sounds kinda muddy to me.

not a fart can, but just one that can let the engine breathe a bit better, probably just a cat-back

i was actually talking about the controls on the actual radio. i can remember the steering wheel controls. i just hate fumbling around looking for "1", "2", "CD", etc.

no exhaust modifications for me. i just drive up and down an interstate anyway so it wouldn't help me out. BUT i do LOVE my car... husband has the accord ex with the v-6... mine is way cuter and more fun to drive (tho his does have a good 40+hp).

I have never really noticed the controls on the radio as I mostly listen to Sirius via the FM modulator, which we are about to run via a special controller into the aux input. I think the adapter is about 100 bucks, but the FM modulator makes the radio sound like crap. We're also looking at putting in a small powered sub for some low end.

you arent going to find one that looks any good or sounds good

they all sound like shit. you dont need your TL to breath better no matter what. stick with the stock setup. there is absolutely no need for any aftermarket parts on that car.

but to each his own.

just my $.02

They are illuminated in mine, and I don't have navi.

TSX, being a 4 banger, would sound even worse with exhaust

I think it sounds good enough stock, honestly. Sounds pretty good for a 4-banger.

Still looking for input as far as audio system upgrades go. Anyone?

Congrats!

What color did you get?

I got mine about a month ago. So far I have put some blue LED's in the map lights.

Check out that site for some very devoted TSX owners.

nice! is that carbon gray? That's the color I was gonna get, but then changed my mind and got the black.

I love it.

I'll have some pics in a couple days.

Yup carbon grey.

Where did you get it from? I had to go through hurdles to get that car. It came from Spartanburg, SC through SECU's car buying service.

It sucked because it already had 200 miles on it, but I would have had to wait forever to get the color combination I wanted.

Did you get the ebony interior?

we loved the carbon grey when we got ours, but ended up with the silver, can't remember the exact color name... i like the new wheels they put on the 06's.

I had Formula One put a layer or 35% all around and we had the factory spoiler put on the back.

our fleet...

I live in Charlotte, so I got it from Hendrick Acura. The sales guy was pretty straightforward, gave me a great price straight up. Probably because I was in there at the end of December.

it's got ebony interior, yea. I wasn't too fond of the new wheels they put on it, but they're definitely growing on me.

I'm thinking about maybe getting OEM underbody kit. It's a good look, I think.

^^nope, had to get rid of the 6. I liked it, but it had very little low-end torque. Kind of annoying sometimes.
