not the pci-e video cards i've seen...you can get an agp card a lot cheaper than a pci-e

PCI vid cards are cheaper.. but not PCI-E.. they are usually the same or more expensive than AGP but that's because the cards are newer and better versions of the typical AGP cards

dFshadow is right. card for card...pci-e is cheaper than an AGP equivalent IF the card was designed with pci-e in mind. if the card originally came out on AGP and they adapted it to work with pci-e, then it will probably be more expensive. case in point:

Geforce 6600 designed on PCI-E = cheaper on PCI-E than AGP
Geforce 6800 designed on AGP = cheaper on AGP than PCI-E
