anyone got one? i hate jeep and their gay security torx. i've tried drilling out the security thing, tried drilling out my t20 bit i have and it won't drill through it/can't keep my hand steady enough.

so if anyone has one i would appreciate it!

nevermind. i used a dremel bit in my drill and ground the shit down i must say that whoever decided to put that CRAP on jeeps should be shot

i have a regular set of torx, but the i'm not gonna go buy a security set. i don't have that many, and the ones i do take off get replaced they are the devil though. thanx guys who offered to let me use em tho

i think wilders may still carry those security bits , as they carry the screws with that type head on them

i dont see why you would buy a set of torx bits that are NOT tamperproof. tamperproof bits work on regular and tamperproof torx bolts, and they cost the same as regular torx bits.

by the way the whole purpose of putting all these special fasteners on certain cars is because average joe who doesnt have the right tools to work on the car probably shouldnt be fucking with it anyhow

yea i shouldn't be fucking with it stfu. i was switching an ais sensor housing on a throttle body, and i feel VERY comfortable doing that kind of work.

and the real reason to put that gay shit on there is so you have to buy special tools or take it in the dealership so they can bend you over.
