i installed my tv tuner, a wintv-pvr 150, and was using it fine with media center for a couple months. then, right after installing a game, the picture quality or resolution has changed horribly. i can still watch all previously recorded shows fine, but now with live tv and any shows i record, the picture has green and red lines scattered throughout it and becomes very choppy. does anyone have any idea what i can do to fix this? i've already tried setting up my tv connection again as well as uninstalling the software that seems to have caused it but neither has worked. please help!

Are there any unidentified processes running? (Check task manager)

Does it work if you drop your screen resolution?

there are so many processes running right now, how do i tell which do what? also, it worked fine before on this screen resolution, what would cause that to change now?

I have a PVR-150 but I use it in Linux and I know how to troubleshoot it on that OS but I am not sure how Windows MCE handles the video stream.

i've tried reinstalling and updating all the drivers and that didn't work. and i didn't see anything in the running processes that seemed unusual. i'm thinking about calling their support center tomorrow, but are there any other ideas as to why the picture has become corrupted?
