Two years ago at the Cradle was one of the best shows I've ever been to. It didn't hurt that I was with good people and just discovered the OC Social Club and was out with a girl I had a huge crush on.

But judging from the album, Doug should go through four or five sets of strings a night on these new songs. No joke.

According to Pitchfork, Built to Spill has postponed their American tour until the fall. This includes the two shows at the cradle. Evidently Doug had eye surgery and needs the next few months to recoup.
