ive backed up everything and am about to format this beast to have some clean running love but i dont know where my XP key is? Is there a way that i can get it off the computer before i reinstall winblows?

btw i also need an XP cd to borrow for an hour or two.

Belarc System Advisor or some shit.


Gives you a total report of your system specs and lists product keys for all your software at the bottom. Not sure if it's freeware, check it out.


Or search for the registry key.


And if you're so unhappy with windows, then don't fucking reinstall it.

Did you buy your computer with Windows XP pre-installed? Isn't there a sticker on the side/top/bottom of the machine that has your Windows XP key?
