talked to a cop tonight with a bmw 1150 some shit. looked like a moving sofa. he said it was fast and it could lean good. ... there's like no space for this thing to lean i dunno how it does it. i doubt these could catch crotch rockets with a somewhat capable rider.
jbaz b4 u reply check my tires they are getting worn on the sides good so stfu bout leaning.

dude, seriously. you just need to keep your mouth shut about bikes cause you are sounding like one hell of a squid.
they don't have to drag knees to catch you. besides, you can't outrun a motorola. 2/2/2006 12:17:47 AM |

They are probably R1150RTs. Not as fast as a true crotch rocket with a decent rider, but you won't walk away from it like you would a cop car either. Better hope you don't hit slow traffic if you decide to run from one.

yep that's what it is... just was reading that 124mph... wtf mate that sucks. yeah i mean you have to be somewhat capable to get away.. but weighted down with all that shit i would think they are even slower.
my hawk is as fast as that shit. 2/2/2006 12:21:53 AM |

oh yeah you can...you just have to have something that'll really haul ass.
that BMW would be a little quicker than the HDs they usually ride, but it would definitely handle a lot better. Still would be over before it started against a sportbike with a good rider, but if you aren't a good rider (and everyone thinks he's a good rider), you could easily get caught.2/2/2006 12:28:33 AM |

i wouldn't either right now...been over a year since i've ridden a motorcycle sportbike...that'll change soon enough, though
that, and i can't really do the whole running from the law thing like i used to be able to...i'd be screwed totally if i got caught 2/2/2006 1:13:32 AM |

yeah, aren't you in florida? Lets just hope if you do run, the cop won't blow out his tire by running over a concrete medium then zoom at 130mph and think that his tires will hold up... Then you'd be put in jail for 30 years if he crashes and dies.
I'm making a personal rule not to own, operate, or even look at a sports bike in Florida.
btw kyle, stop making these stupid threads. worn on the sides? umm.. you only had that tire for a week, it can't be gettin worn on the sides good. Oh wait.. you have a metzler m-1 that has poor tire wear... my m-3 pawns your tire. First one in the US to sport it And kyle, your gonna need to take your cage off 2-3 weeks from now when we go out riding. You're gonna learn how to actually lean off the bike damnit. AND FIX YOUR DAMN FRONT FORKS! 2/2/2006 1:46:34 AM |

front forks are fine, just need new seals. it's the triple tree clamp that needs adjusting. the r6 isnt my touring around bike, that's what the hawk is for.

nope, read a nice review about the m-1 vs m-3. m-3 is dual compound thats engineered to reduce the overall temp of the tire to increase the milage by atleast 1,000 miles, but still have, if not better, traction. It's gotten good reviews about its all weather traction as well. m-1 are known to have poor thread life but are very grippy. m-3 is suppose to on par or better then the pilot powers, while offering higher milage. Perhaps, we should have gotten cheap dunlop 208 on your r6 since you can't lean low enough to use that m-1. Oh wellz. 2/2/2006 10:59:48 AM |
