i never found anything interesting with their music to me. they sound like someone who picked up instruments the day of the cd recording(moreso on their first cd). which i guess they somewhat did. just kind *yaaawwwwn* for me

I saw them at Cat's Cradle and personally thought they were so good it made listening to their studio album next to impossible. They were very fun (and really good) live.

franz ferdinand rocks. listen to the SONGS man. quit bitching about their technical ability and appreciate their killer songwriting. I mean, it's not like anyone shit on the beatles because they didn't have solos like led zepplin.

their technicality is not the reason i dont like them. their songwriting to me is boring. yes i complained about their skill but no i dont like their *songs*.

i mean i do listen to old weezer, the shins, minor threat, lots of bands that are by far in no means technical whatsoever. i just dont enjoy FF songs. never said i HATE them, just cant really stand to listen to em :p.

I went to SchoolKids on Hillsborough St. today and the guy working there said they'd receive their alotment "next week". He said they'd be given very little info. on the show at this point...didn't even know if it would be 100% general admission or if they'd do seats.
