too funny

Quote :
"General Motors thought it would be a good idea to tell customers to "Google Pontiac" at the end of its TV spot for the new Pontiac Solstice. Presumably, the automaker is hoping to show it's in touch with a young, tech-conscious audience. Unfortunately, Mazda is proving to be more tech-savvy than the folks over at GM. According to a report in USA Today, Mazda bought Sponsored Links for the terms "Pontiac" and "Pontiac Solstice" on Google's AdWords advertising program. That means next to the search results for "Pontiac Solstice" on Google will be links to a Mazda site with a chart conveniently showing statistics about how the MX-5 is better than the Solstice. Google reportedly allows Mazda to do this because its site includes references to the Pontiac Solstice. "

well no shit, most companies do this shit anyway. for example, do a search for a cell phone company and you'll get ads for their sites and then all the other discount retailers
