I am trying to play call of duty 2 on live and I have a guest for my username, but I dont know how to have the guest join the game.

How do you have two people playing xbox live on the same game console?

^^If I understand you correctly, you are wanting your friend to play on live with you on the same system. I think only some games support guest accounts I haven't played Call of Duty myself so idk if it does or not.

ive done this on perfect dark zero

-the way me and my friend did it is you have to sign in, which should initially work for the first player as the actual Live account name.
-we both have wireless controllers, and ive never used a controller on the 360 with the wire, but on the wireless my friend presses the circle x in the middle of the controller where he can sign in his profile he created but it will fall under my account name...so when he is playing in the game he will be (lets say my account name is John) John1, basically the same way it worked on the original xbox

-this should work, if it doesnt then i dont know what else to tell you

1. Have 2 controllers connected
2. Sign a player into live
3. (doesn't matter at this point whether you sign in player 2 on any profile)
4. Connect to a live game.
5. Press start on the other controller (if it's wireless press the dashboard button to turn it on first, duh)
6. It will ask you to sign into live (there will be an option to sign in as "Guest")
7. ...
8. profit
