I don't know what the fuck the deal is with people trying to merge onto the beltline, but fuck if I don't always get stuck behind some douche that thinks he can merge into traffic doing 40 mph in the acceleration lane. Well yesterday I lost it behind some douche in a van that was talking on his cell phone and "accelerating" to get on the beltline off of wake forest road. I drove around him on the shoulder. Flicked him off, and proceeded to merge at the speed of traffic.

I felt the need to vent. Thanks. I feel much better now.

On capitol getting onto 440 where the two lanes on the onramp merge into one, I "accidently ran some guy off the road.

He was in the lane that ended, doing about 40. And he was driving it all the way to the end, and then going to just come over. Well, I was doing about 75 at this point in the lane that doesn't end, and at the point where his lane ended, I was beside him. So, he drove off into the breakdown lane, since he was too stupid to merge properly.

I was about 8 cars behind some cunt that stopped in front of the sign that says "Free Flowing Lane Merge" or something like that this morning. The dumb bitch sat there for a long ass time waiting for traffic that had just taken off from a red light at the intersection to get by. SHE HAD 1/8th OF A MILE OF LANE IN FRONT OF HER, BUT SHE JUST STOPPED AND WAITED FOR ALL OF THE TRAFFIC FROM THE RED LIGHT TO GO BY BEFORE PULLING OUT. In the meantime, a huge line of traffic piled up behind her.


Last night some dumb cunt ran a redlight while making a right turn. She saw me coming across the intersection and went anyway. I was probably less than 20" from nailing her at 35 MPH. When I passed her I could see that she had two kids in car-seats in the back. Her husband should smack the shit out of her for driving like that with the kids in the car.

I hate the free flow merge from I-40 West onto Aviation Parkway towards the airport. There are 2 signs that indicate its a free flow merge, one is close to the beginning of the ramp when no one is paying attention, the other is 30 feet down the lane where its already obvious that you don't have to merge.

Always a crapshoot whether the person in front of me has a clue or not.

Of all the ramps in this area, this is the one I hate the most. I live in Cary and usually take the outer beltline to 64 home. And god DAMN, there is ALWAYS someone in front of me who doesn't realize that they need to pick up the pace when merging in from the left side.

One day, when coming up onto that ramp, I started accelerating up to 75mph so I could breeze by the left lane traffic, when out in front of me, I noticed a car STOPPED with their right turn signal flashing, trying to wait for a clearing in the left lane so they could merge in. I almost slammed into them and knocked them all the way to K-Mart. Good fucking grief.

NC sucks. Once it rains, snows or ice, no matter how much or little, there are like 5 gazillion accidents. And talk about highway drivers. Man, they are so inconsistant that it just boggles the mind if the driver knows what they are doing and can actually read their speedometer.

Last tuesday, I rode all the way down to fayetteville. On the way there, There was a large 18-wheelier truck in the right lane going 60 mph and on the left lane, a green bonniville going the same speed. And this was on I-95 where the speedlimit is like 65-75. I was behind two other cars bumper to bumper behind that slow ass bonniville. I mean speed the fuck up and pass the god damn big rig. And the worst part about it was that the bonniville was in the trucker's blind spot. DOH! I stayed behind them for atleast 15 mins and just got pissed off and lane splitted.

fuck that, I was in boston last tuesday when it started sleeting and people were loosing control just like they fucking do here. The radio traffic guy comes on and says "ITS SNOWING AND YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS!!! NEW ENGLANDERS THINKING THAT THEY CAN DRIVE FASTER!"

They don't "go" up there, they drive just as fast as we do, even slower actually. Also they stop and go.. meaning when they brake, they stand on it.... no gradually coming to a stop. If you can't see the shit in front of the car in front of you, you're going to be held back by your seatbelt.

This is pretty damn bad, but what bothers me more is when I'm stuck behind somebody who won't jam on it. I've gotten stuck behind somebody doing 35 on the merge bridge from western onto 440, and he didn't accelerate up to the speed limit in the time that it took me to find a decent gap in the right line and pass him and get all the way down to the exit at walnut st.

I'll also say that while it is kind of weird when people go all the way down to the end of the merge lane to merge (riding that white line over into the cruising lane), it is much worse when people immediately swerve over into your lane doing 40mph right when they hit the dashed line.

If anyone has been on silas creek parkway in W-S, you may have seen this...

The ramp from country club rd. that merges on silas creek going towards 40 DOES NOT END, it goes 1/2 a mile then exits to 40, but yet everyday I will see a car stopped, waiting for a break on silas creek traffic (rare). I have seen people stopped on ramps, but this is just stupid, the lane doesnt end, you have litteraly 1/2 to merge
