Wolfpack Capital Sports needs to find another station to cover Wolfpack Athletics in Wilmington. 980AM-WAAV SUCKS!!!!!

They're playing the UNCW-Hofstra game tonight at 7, and so I'm SOL on hearing the game on the radio. I don't have ESPNU ($93/month on DirecTV for the package that includes it), so I'll have to go to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner just to have coverage of it....

I really want to listen to Gary and Tony....

^^^fuck that, woody durham would make a better ACC official than the shit he calls on the radio. it's like listening to the typical Walmart UNC fan that calls in on Sports Radio in the mornings and rambles on with blatent UNC bias...

the thing I enjoy about Tony and Gary is that they both call the game like they see it. They'll point out bad calls both for and against us. They're probably not the most insightful of commentators, but it's much better than the "Dickie V"-wannabes you hear everywhere else.

I get it sometimes, but not really good. Living below the radio towers at Snow's Cut really hurts reception at Kure Beach.... I can usually pick it up when I'm in Wilmington, as well as 690AM in Jacksonville, Florida. I'll try it tonight. Maybe I'll just put an extra antenna out to get better reception....

Gary Dornburg was great. He used to have a sports show on WPTF in the evenings that was top notch...he had recruiting experts on the show and other sports locals. I used to listen to it all the time in HS, I even met Gary at Meet the Pack Day way back in the day and told him how much I enjoyed his show.

He was one of a kind and even though Haynes is a good one, Gary was the best. I hear that he and the guy before Hahn, Wally Ausley, were phenominal as a radio duo for the Wolfpack Radio Network.

the guys that call the duke game are horrific. I can't remember if it's the color guy or the play-by-play, but one of them has a voice that can peel paint off the walls.

But I like Hahn. He might be slow as shit making some calls, but the man has class.

I was able to get a good signal on the game last night. I went jogging for the first half around the Carolina Beach lake, and the second half I spent cleaning the house for my parents visit this weekend.

Wolfpack Sports Network is awesome. Gary and Tony did an excellent job. gg guys

one more awesome thing about Tony and Gary, you never hear them say "we" in reference to NCSU. They are calling a game, not pulling for a team.


Oh, and if you think Woody Durham is actually a good announcer, you need to have your balls removed (unless you are a girl, in which case, you need to go make me a sammich).
