This guy is a solid player for us and makes our defense that much better...his offense (patience) is starting to come together...proud of his play and he should get some props for playing better of late considering the shit he was catching for his play at the beginning of the year....good game gavin..................

I'm a big fan of Gavin's potential.

His game is really similar to Hodge's, he's just farther behind him at this point in his career...

He gets to the rim well and has the ability to create his own shot. He is still learning to be patient offensively... if he ever puts things together he's got the ability to be one of the top scorers in the ACC.

He has flashes of greatness, then he will have a horrible turnover or ill timed shot.

I told my roommate, if he just cuts down on the bad decisions, he will be a star. I think he will be very important for the rest of the season and the next 2 years.

to the above, nobody said he is a hero. everyone is simply saying that lately he has shown great improvement. he has, in his jump shot...especially from the arch, free throw shooting, and general decision making. we're just giving props where it is due. so that's right, cancel u'r shit talking for now....

He has a silky smooth shot, he's a good ball handler, and an above average defender on the perimeter. He just goes brain dead sometimes and throws shit away and totally forgets where the basket is when he's in a shooting slump...like now. I think Grant has a better 3 point percentage since the clemson game than Atsur....he's really been absolute shit lately.

Gavin's going to be HUGE if this team is going to go deep in the NCAA. We can do OKAY with Ev, Atsur, Bethel, Bennerman, and Simmons...but if Brack and Grant step up like they're capable, then we could do something special.

And Gavin is going to be BIG next year...he has to. He had a rough start to the season...but he's a fucking player. Atsur is going to need help next year...he won't have Bethel to bail him out. Gavin has the potential, and he's finally playing decent. He can play even better, and I think he's just starting.
