Does anyone have him and take good notes? ive slept through his class a couple days now and Id like to catch up...

i had him for that class, i really enjoyed the subject matter, although young's delivery of it can seem a little monotone. he does know his stuff, but is also a hard grader. had i taken that class for credit only it would have been a great combination of an interesting subject matter and no worry about the grade. he seemed to put more emphasis on later works rather than on the ancient works. didn't keep my notes from the class or i'd offer them up, but then again he could have switched up the syllabus some since i took the class anyways. good luck.

DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT write any of your papers on the clergy, chaucer, and john donne. i made that mistake and he ripped them apart. apparently if you use sources written by people he doesnt know personally, youre using disputable sources. total bullshit.
