So I upgraded the firmware on my D-link DI-524 so that I'd have WPA-SPK, and now there's something fucked up with the port forwarding. just for shits and giggles I setup a TS server, and opened 8767 then had my buddy try to connect....

Nothing came through on TCP view, meaning it got stopped at the router. Is it possible to revert to the original firmware if I download that version from the support site or will it fuck up the router further?

I believe I had to enter the ports and IP in both the virtual server and the firewall sections of the router config to open up and forward the ports for my shoutcast server and vpn.

I've never had a problem reverting to an earlier firmware on my dlinks.

Yeah I've done that.

I'm thinking about reverting.

Thanks.
