Try rephrasing your issue in a less-dumb way (you really are a Bush, aren't you ).

i'm gonna tell you some basics about DTV but i'm not going to spoil you.

for DTV you have the "channel" number, the actual channel number (RF Channel) and sub-channels.

for channel numbers in raleigh area would be channels like: 4,5,11,17,22,28,40,50. but they all have different RF channel numbers and some channels have sub channels

i'll give you one for example:

WRAL's channel number is 5 but the RF is 53 and WRAL normally has 2 sub-channels (during march madness, 5). So in order for you to get WRAL-DT you will have to set the Channel as 5-1 and the RF Channel as 53. WRAL-DT's sub channel is -1 and WRAL NewsChannel's sub channel is 2

how do you find local channels info? http://www.titantv.com

if you can't figure this out, you are as dumb and stupid as Walker

Thanks for the new information. None of us had any idea that he was using a pc tuner card. Really, we didn't. I mean the idea that "watchHDTV" might be some kind of software program completely eluded us. Seriously.
